HUUGE portions! Definitely need to go as a group and get less portions than there are people. The dakgalbi is very fun- they cook it right in front of you and of course the fried rice at the end is a must! The meat so super well seasoned and the ladies make sure your food is cooked perfectly. We enjoy adding toppings- rice cake, potato, even ramen! The flavors are very yummy and we've been back several times. If you are with a lot of friends, you can get a variety of meats in the same pan. Yum!
Tasty Korean restaurant on Northern Blvd! We came with 8 people and split into 2 tables and each table got the Chef Special to split between 4 people. We got a mix of squid, pork and chicken, with added ramen, and fried rice. Our table got the "non-spicy" version but it still had a decent kick to it. Great meal if you are planning to split family style. If you try to order this with 2 people, you will be stuffed! The staff were super nice, cooked the meal for us on the grill on our table, and were very interactive.
Have been wanting to try dak galbi for a while and glad I was able to finally come here! It was a cool experience having everything cooked fresh in front of you. While it tasted good, I wanted more depth to the flavor of the overall dish - felt like it was mainly the spice that dominated the flavor. The cheese was definitely a nice addition. Definitely leave room for the fried rice at the end! If you're not super hungry, 2 portions is probably good enough for 4 people. We got 3 portions for 4 people and were all stuffed at the end.
Portions are just HUGE at this place. Came here with 3 other people and we ordered the 3 person portion. This was definitely enough for 5-6 people. The min portion order is 2 so keep that in mind Tip for girls: go on your hair wash day The waitress was really nice and made us feel really welcome. The taste of the food is average and nothing too special. Spice level was okay. I think she went lighter on us because we weren't Korean Great spot to go if you're hungry. At the end, can make it fried rice as well. I forgot to take a picture of that. We ordered the 2 portion for fried rice and it was huge as well Just huge portions here
Came here with a group of 6 for my birthday and it was such a fun and filling meal! I made a reservation through Google and it was super quick and easy. We got 4 orders of the dak galbi with rice cakes, cheese, an order of the spicy buckwheat noodles, and fried rice at the end. I think getting 4 portions was plenty for our group and we were so full at the end. Make sure to save some room to get the fried rice at the end because it's one of the best parts of the meal! I do wish you were able to choose your spice level because it wasn't as spicy as I would've liked, but it was still good nonetheless. Service was quick and the staff was really attentive. I highly recommend coming with a group of friends because it's such a fun meal to share, and you need a minimum order of at least 2 portions. It is a bit pricey per order but that's why it's best to go with more people.
